Magellanic Penguins (Spheniscus magellanicus) coming ashore and greeting each other on a bill-to-bill contact. Their breeding colonies throughout Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego and the Falkland Islands are quite busy right now (January) as the adults are extensively feeding their young. The breeding season is half way down now and each day makes the difference for the survival of a new cohort of these unique seabirds. #Patagonia#TierradelFuego #FarSouthExp
