Falkland Islands Wildlife trip report. We have just finished another successful wildlife photography and natural history trip to the Falkland Islands. Between January 11-18 2020, naturalist and Far South Expeditions founder Claudio F Vidal led this yearly trip to one of our favorite wildlife destinations.
On this occasion we concentrated on visiting two wonderful islands of this remote archipelago located in the South Atlantic: (1) Sea Lion Island and (2) Pebble Island.
Penguins in abundance, Sei Whales, albatrosses, petrels, elephant seals and an intriguing array of native vegetation provided a great nature spectacle to our guests.
Back in Port Stanley, the only town in the Falklands, we visited the wonderful King Penguin sanctuary known as Volunteer Point.
If you want to experience the magnificent and tame wildlife of the Falkland Islands, why you don’t consider to join us on our January 2021 expedition.
