Falkland Islands photo tour. Join this exceptional nature photography and wildlife trip to the Falkland Islands, a fascinating and remote archipelago located in the South Atlantic Ocean. We have been visiting these islands since 1998, and every expedition has been a remarkable opportunity to observe and document its unique and extremely tame wildlife.
This itinerary features multiple photographic visits to penguin as well as albatross and cormorant breeding colonies, all of them comprising huge numbers of individuals.
We will be able to photograph fascinating pinnipeds such as Southern Elephant Seal, Southern Fur Seal and South American Sea Lions; there is an array of cetaceans occurring around the Falklands waters, and we will always have the chance to spot Commerson’s Dolphin, Peale’s Dolphin and even pods of Orca, visiting the seal rookeries with the intention to hunt.
We will be “jumping” between the islands, using the efficient air service provided by the Falklands Government. By taking advantage of this scenic flights, we will be able to reach remote wildlife spots located in the outlying islands such as Carcass and Sea Lion.
Besides, the remarkable hospitality of the Kelpers, our hosts throughout the trip, will be another highlight on its own right.
If you are a nature photographer, a birder, or simply a nature enthusiast or hiker, this journey of discovery is for you!
