Patricio Arevalo
English Teacher – Naturalist Guide & Content Editor at Far South Expeditions
Born and raised in Punta Arenas, Patricio is a naturalist guide with over a decade of experience exploring the southern landscapes. His passion for nature and adventure has led him to guide expeditions in iconic destinations such as Torres del Paine National Park, Cape Horn, and the Alberto de Agostini and Francisco Coloane National Parks.
Patricio has led expeditions for three seasons aboard the Australis cruise line in Tierra del Fuego, guiding landings in places like the Darwin Mountain Range, southern glaciers, Cape Horn, Ushuaia, and Puerto Williams. He also worked in airport logistics on King George Island, in the Antarctic Peninsula, one of the most remote regions on the planet.
Currently, he works as a naturalist guide leading expeditions for puma observation in Torres del Paine and birdwatching throughout various corners of Chile, combining his local expertise with his passion for wildlife.
